5 Easy Science Experiments for Kids

 Te comparto ideas de experimentos faciles de elaborar con nuestros alumnos.

I share with you ideas about science experiments that we can do at school.

1. Volcano 

Puedes utilizar una botella de plástico, alrededor coloca bolitas de papel y luego debes moldearlo para formar el volcán.

Cuando tengas la base lista, los materiales a utilizar son: vinagre, bicarbonato, y colorantes. Estos los introduciras en el volcán.

2. Lava Lamp 

Water, vegetable oil, food coloring, Alka-Seltzer tablet (or effervescent tablet), clear bottle or glass.
Agua, aceite vegetal, colorante, tableta efervescente, botella o vaso transparente.

Pour water into the bottle, add oil and let it separate, drop some food coloring, add the tablet and observe the bubbling effect like a lava lamp.
Vierte agua en la botella, agrega aceite y deja que se separen, añade colorante, coloca la tableta efervescente y observa el efecto tipo lámpara de lava.

3.  Rainbow Milk Experiment

Milk, food coloring, dish soap, cotton swab, plate.
Leche, colorante, jabón líquido, hisopo, plato.

Pour milk on the plate, add drops of coloring, dip the swab in soap, touch the milk and watch the colors move.
Vierte la leche en el plato, agrega gotas de colorante, moja el hisopo en jabón, toca la leche y observa cómo se mueven los colores.

4. Walking Water Experiment 

Three cups, water, food coloring, paper towels.
Tres vasos, agua, colorante, papel toalla.

Fill two cups with colored water, leave one empty in the middle, connect them with folded paper towels and observe how the water moves to the empty cup.
Llena dos vasos con agua coloreada, deja uno vacío en medio, únelos con papel toalla doblado y observa cómo el agua se mueve hacia el vaso vacío.

5. Balloon Inflation Experiment

Balloon, plastic bottle, vinegar, baking soda, funnel.
Globo, botella plástica, vinagre, bicarbonato, embudo.

Put vinegar in the bottle, add baking soda inside the balloon, attach the balloon to the bottle opening, let the powder fall inside and watch the balloon inflate.
Coloca vinagre en la botella, introduce bicarbonato dentro del globo, ajusta el globo en la boca de la botella, deja caer el polvo y observa cómo el globo se infla.
